Carmina Rodríguez Fumaz

Dr Carmina Rodriguez Fumaz is a clinical psychologist at the Infectious Diseases Department at the Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol in Barcelona. Dr Fumaz received her Ph.D. in Medicine in 2009. Previously she had obtained her Master's Degree in Family Therapy in 1998 and her Degree in Psychology in 1992. She conducts patient-oriented research of the impact of HIV infection and antiretroviral treatment on patients' well-being, and the study of aging and the psychological processes associated. Dr Fumaz has also served as a teacher in the Rovira i Virgili University and Open University of Catalonia. 

 

La Dra. Carmina Rodríguez Fumaz se desempeña como psicóloga clínica del Departamento de Enfermedades Infecciosas del Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol de Barcelona. La Dra. Fumaz recibió su Doctorado en Medicina en 2009, anteriormente había obtenido su Maestría en Terapia Familiar en 1998 y su Licenciatura en Psicología en 1992. Sus investigaciones giran en torno al paciente y al impacto que la infección por VIH y el tratamiento antirretroviral tienen en su bienestar, además del estudio de los procesos psicológicos asociados al envejecimiento. La Dra. Fumaz también ha sido docente en la Universidad Rovira i Virgili y en la Universidad Abierta de Cataluña.
