Andrew Clark

For the past 22 years I have worked in the pharmaceutical industry focused on the research and development of antiretrovirals. My view of HIV is shaped by its immunopathology and how chronic inflammation and ageing impact the immune landscape. More recently I have been interested in the pathophysiology of stress and stigma and how this intersects with HIV immunopathology.

Durante los últimos 22 años he trabajado en la industria farmacéutica, enfocada en la investigación y el desarrollo de antirretrovirales. Mi visión del VIH está determinada por su inmunopatología y cómo la inflamación crónica y el envejecimiento impactan en el panorama inmunológico. Recientemente me he interesado en la fisiopatología del estrés y el estigma, y cómo esto se cruza con la inmunopatología del VIH.
